2018 Audi Sport Customer Racing Program

Rev up your abilities for competing and winning during this unique, hands-on track experience

Two-day course will have you expertly handling high-performance vehicles for the ultimate adrenaline rush

Find out what it takes to compete, but more importantly to win at the Audi Sport Customer Racing Program. This two-day licensed training course, held September 25 and 26, offers a hands-on experience to take your driving skills to the next level. You'll receive personal coaching from top Canadian racing drivers and those participants who pass the training course may apply to the ASN Canada FIA for a Canadian regional race license. Eligibility for this license requires Canadian citizenship.

The Audi Sport Customer Racing Program package includes:

• Two-day experience
• FIA Standard race regulation training and driving instruction
• Driving experience in R8, TT RS and RS 3 LMS (FIA TCR regulated race car)
• Two nights' accommodation at Audi selected hotel
• Audi premium hospitality with gourmet catering

The course curriculum consists of the following:

• Course handling
• Lapping TT RS and R8 Coupe
• Advanced lapping in the RS 3 LMS TCR

Important details about the program

• The program costs $15,000 plus applicable taxes
• To be held September 25th and 26th at the Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit
• Program costs do include damage insurance, but do not include the deductible. If you crash and damage the RS3 TCR car, you'll be fully responsible for the insurance deductible
• Training schedule may vary due to driving conditions

Well-known, decorated Canadian racer shares his skills and experience for top-level instruction

Learn expert driving knowledge and skills from the best. Scott Goodyear is the instructor for the Audi Custom Racing Program, and as one of Canada's most decorated racers of all time, Scott uses his experience to elevate the Audi driving experience to a higher level. Scott is originally from Newmarket, Ontario, and began his racing journey in karts. In 1986 he won the Formula Atlantic Championship after moving up through the ranks. Then Scott was invited in 1989 to be a factory driver for Audi in the IMSA Championship alongside Hurley Haywood, Walter Rohrl, and Hans Stuck. Scott enjoyed a successful Indy Car career for over 12 years, finishing second two times at the infamous Indy 500 with one that still stands as the closest finish in the race's history behind Al Unser Jr. The Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame inducted Scott in 2002.
