Audi Presents Android Integration Concept at Google I/O Developer Conference

Audi is already well known for innovation on the road, and they're continuing... but adding a technological edge. In May, Audi took part in the largest software developer conference in the world, Google I/O. There, Audi presented a concept that would make connectivity better than ever on the Toronto roads.

Using the Audi Q8 sport concept technology platform, Audi unveiled seamless onboard integration between its brand specific infotainment system and Android. Features and services like Spotify, Google Play Music, and Google Assistant would all run on the touch display, and would also be broadcast directly into the driver's line of site through the Audi virtual cockpit. Plus, drivers would also be able to easily access Google Maps.

Connectivity and infotainment keeps getting better and better, delivering an entire roadway experience to Audi drivers and passengers. This certainly gives us all something to look forward to! Until then, browse our current selection of new Audi vehicles, and come into Audi Midtown Toronto for a test drive.
